12/14/05 - Brian featured on new DVD

Brian Johnson is featured in the DVD realease "Hard Rock Treasures". The footage includes a feature of Brian at his house in Florida. Brian shows off some stage clothes from 1985, a piece of his racing car and also original hand written lyrics to "Hells Bells".

11/28/05 - Brian and Cliff to Play Benefit Concert

Brian Johnson and Cliff Williams will be performing at the 96 K-ROCK For Relief II concert to benefit the victims of Hurricane Wilma. The show takes place on December 15 at the Germain Arena in Estero, Florida, where they both performed at a previous benefit in December 2004.

11/1/05 - The Black Crowes pay tribute to AC/DC

The BLACK CROWES planned a Halloween surprise for fans when the group wrapped up its U.S. tour on Monday, October 31 at the Riviera Theatre in Chicago. The group masqueraded as its own opening act, dubbed BC/DC. The six musicians sported Angus Young wigs and caps and played four AC/DC covers, then left the stage to return for their regular BLACK CROWES show.

According to, AC/DC's Ballbreaker is being re-issued in the U.S. on October 18th.

10/17/05 - Brian to be Special Guest on Nights with Alice Cooper

AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson will be Alice Cooper's special guest on Cooper's radio show "Nights with Alice Cooper" airing on Thursday, October 20th. The program is a classic-rock format and is nationally syndicated on the United Stations Radio Networks. Air times differ, so make sure to check out for more information.

9/21/05 - Brian to make cameo appearance in upcoming movie

According to, AC/DC's own Brian Johnson will make a cameo appearance in the upcoming movie "Goal!", directed by Danny Cannon ("I Still Know What You Did Last Summer" and "Judge Dredd").

Brian Johnson joined Velvet Revolver onstage during their appearance at Hard Rock Live in Orlando, Florida this past Tuesday for a rendition of Led Zeppelin's "Rock And Roll".


9/9/05 - Considering double album?

Angus Young told the HIT PARADER magazine that AC/DC has written and recorded so much material over the last year that they might seriously consider making their next album release a double disc.

"We do have a lot of songs at the moment. But that's not incredibly unusual for us. We tend to have a lot of material at some point in the recording process, then begin to whittle it down. But this time, we like a lot of what we're hearing, so the idea of expanding things out is not out of the realm of possibility", Young said.

7/25/05 - Scottish Town To Erect Plaque To Late Frontman BON SCOTT!

According to The Herald, a fundraising drive is in full swing to erect a plaque to late AC/DC frontman Bon Scott in Kirriemuir, Scotland ó Bon's birthplace and home of his family in his early years.


The GODDESS ODYSSEY TELEVISION SERIES takes AC/DCís legendary front man BRIAN JOHNSON to remote Sparta Greece. Horizontal jogging, women running naked through the streets, a history lesson like you have never seen from one of rock-n-rollís finest. AC/DC's 1980 breakthrough "Back in Black" has been certified for U.S. shipments of 21 million copies, tying it for fifth place with Billy Joel's "Greatest Hits Vol. 1 & II" on the Recording Industry Assn. of America's all-time best-sellers list.

Elsewhere among the RIAA's May certifications is a triple-platinum award (U.S. shipments of three million) for AC/DC's 1976 set "High Voltage."

5/12/05 - Inside AC/DC DVD Postponed

The DVD and book set "Inside AC/DC" was planned for a release in May but, who will release the product, reported it's now postponed. No new release date is announced, but CRD believe it will be out around August.

4/28/05 - Brian interview

4/19/05 - Inside AC/DC DVD

A new DVD and book entitled "Inside AC/DC" will be released on May 9, 2005 featuring rare archive footage and commentary from renowned critics.

However, it appears the DVD will only play on European Region 2 or multi-region DVD players so it is likely we will not see a U.S release.

4/14/05 - Family Jewels Tops the Charts!

The "Family Jewels" Double DVD debuted at #1 on the Music Video sales charts in the following countries this week: USA, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Norway, Austria, Ireland and Switzerland.

As I reported earlier, Epic/Sony will issue a double DVD entitled "Family Jewels" on March 29th. The Double DVD will include video material from the periods 1975 to 1980 and 1980 to 1993 respectively.

2/1/05 - Brian Dropps out of Musicians 4 disaster Relief

Brian has dropped out of the performing line-up for the Feb 5th M4DR event.

According to the organizer of the event, Brian felt that the event had become too 'commercialized' and that the surrounding 'Mardi Gras' atmosphere did not properly reflect the original purpose for which he had chosen to perform.

The official word was given Friday. Although there was nothing official posted on, as of yet, it does reflect the new lineup.

Australian Radio Show Triple J broadcasted an AC/DC Special on Saturday January 22nd called, "30 YEARS OF TRIPLE J - AC/DC Special"

"For our 30 years of Triple J celebration, we've got a j-file on possible the biggest Australian band of all time - AC/DC. Then we'll play you a classic Triple J recording of AC/DC at their absolute prime - live at Haymarket in Sydney in 1977!"

According to, Brian Johnson, TWISTED SISTER's Dee Snider, CHEAP TRICK's Robin Zander and BON JOVI's Richie Sambora are among the musicians scheduled to perform at the Mardi Gras kick-off celebration on Saturday, February 5 at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
