GREAT, the sewing, fabric and decorations are perfect. I was very
impressed.
Harvey told me about a place in north Houston that sells white ankle zipper
boots - I'm going to check it out soon. If I can get a bunch of them at
reasonable prices, I'll sell them on this site.
These pictures were taken 4-21-02 at Gallery Furniture in Houston, TX. The owner, Jim MacInvale is an Elvis fan. These items are on display just inside the front door of this HUGE furniture store. The cape and belt are in a glass showcase and you can walk right up to it. The car unfortunately is surrounded by stuff so it was hard to get a good picture. The car is not protected at all, you can touch it and even reach inside and grab the steering wheel. There are other Elvis items, dolls, bills of sale, etc. I made these pictures 3" X 4" so they wouldn't take too long to load on the web...the originals are 10" X 12." If you are interested in the larger pics email me and let me know...I could put them on a CD-ROM and sell them to you for $10 including shipping. If there is a particular detail of the cape or belt you want to see I could go back to Gallery and try to get it. The large round metal discs on the peacock belt are raised images of a bird...they are very hard to see in a picture.
