6/15/02-Hey everyone...well school just got out for us yesterday! thank god we hate that place! Sorry for not responding for awhile we had alot going on. THe 2 shows 6/8/02 were very good. We just want to thank the Beef kurtins for letting us play and concrats on the CD release..and thank you very much to Spencer Albee and Rockopus for letting us open for them. We just got a show yesterday at Rye Airfield for this saturday(6/22/02). MG's been really busy, we've written afew new songs and are ready to jam them out for you guys! We hope to have a CD or new Demo coming out in August.
5/18/02-What to say..Thanks to everyone that made it to the finals to come suppot us..Middle Ground placed 2nd at the rock-off being beat by Glory Trap, who had entered the contest for the 3rd year in a row, but mg earned 4 hours of recording time at Tonezone. Phil also got named "Best vocals" and mg got 3rd in "best live performance" and 2nd in "best song material" but, there's always next year right guys.. We got a couple of new gigs though. May 31st at the YHS auditorium and May 26 at Rye Airfield. So those should be good, other than Superstar Cosby is going to Aruba for the next week(19-26), but we'll be fine! well we're out. later
4/6/02-Well, its April 6th and Middle Ground is just sitting around writing some news song, one new one called "Wasted". They're also getting ready for Rock-Off 2002! Middle Ground is playing 4-21! at 3:50-4:15, tickets are on sale for 7$ right now(get a hold of a memeber) or 10$ at the door. Thats all the news for right now, check back in a few day.
4/27/02-Hey everyone guess what!! Middle Ground made it to the top 5 in the Rock-Off. Now we get to do another set and try to win the title of "Best Young Band in Maine" and 1,000!! Thanx to everyone who came out to the first show. We appreciate it a lot!! After the show on 4/21 we were approached by the Beef Kurtins manager and were asked to play a show the the portland asylum with them for their cd release party. We can't wait! tickets will be on their way shortly. well thats all for now. well write back in a few days.
5/1/02-GREAT NEWS!!! Middle Ground will be doing a double show on June 8th! We're going to be playing with the Beef Kurtins in portland at the Asylum at 4:oo and then packing up and driving to the York Middle School to do a show the Spencer Albee of the Rustic Overtones at 8:oo! we can't wait! We wrote a new song yesterday and Andy started singing back-up and everything is going well..talk to you guys later.
