Welcome to Petra1 v.2. This site has been in the works for some time now and although there was a slight change in name a while back (Not Of This World), I've decided to go with the original Petra1? again. I liked the ring to it and indeed, many fans missed the "warm" style the original evoked. So here we are, back to how it is best liked, aided by a few improvements of course. Warm, friendly and totally Petra.

One way to gauge a musician's depth is to see what albums are worth a damn to him. In this case, John Degroff - professional journalist and rocker extraordinaire - has compiled a list of Top Ten Albums that reflect his musical preferences and influences. Styled after the "what albums would you insist on having around if shipwrecked on a desert island?" theme, John let's us in on the music that drives him. Truly eclectic in taste, he shows us what music is all about - and why it wouldn't hurt if us young ones would shell out a few bucks to have these timeless works blaring through the car CD player. Here's why we should Forget Coconuts!

Apparently he "is now playing in a new band called Viktor an Atlanta based band with Jimi Bennett from "King James" and Skip Binicky from "Mylon and Broken Heart". How do I know all of this? Im the bass player.Be on the look out. Were going to explode!!"

From a guy named Tommy. Hmmm - i can't think of a Tommy bass player...waitaminute: Tommy Sims?? The former Whiteheart dude?
