Kerry King, a musical genius. This guy is evil, and if he wont do what he does, who will? One of the fastest guitar players in the world today, Kerry King and Slayer proved that it's not about how heavy you are, but how FAST! I think that these psychos have done a lot for heavy metal and I'm thankful that they invented Speed-metal(along with metallica, megadeth, and anthrax) because it's the best kind of music out there. When I think of Slayer now, I think of the brutality on "god hates us all" and the full-on 100% metal on "Reign in Blood". Pantera what can i say about Pantera? These 4 are mean texans that just wanna drink and kick ass. The Great Southern Trendkill started an anthem of trend-killing that pantera continues today. They've influenced a lot of people to go antigrain and become original. Phil is still a tough dude, and sings like a panther. Vinnie is definately the greatest drummer I've ever seen or heard. Rex Brown's maniacal, killer bass lines are unforgettable. And dude, i'm telling you, Dimebag Darrel's guitar solos are unparalelled. Reinventing the Steel is their latest release, and it shows no signs of softening in the band. They're still pissed off and are still going strong.
