Marque was formed by Colten Williams, Austin Williams, and Beau Kuther in June of 2000. The band played as an instrumental band playing small shows around Bend looking for the right singer. In the end of September the band found singer and rhythm guitar player, Tyler Moss. Tyler’s vocals and guitar input was perfect. The band has since been playing and recording at Sound Smith Studios in Bend.  

Marque draws in many different influences and it is hard to explain their sound. Marque is definitely a hard rock band going a different direction than others. Taking in influences such as: Tool, Floater, Incubus, Live, Smashing Pumpkins, Silverchair, 311, Deftones to name a few. The band is constantly striving for new and original music. And thrives on their intense and energetic performances. The band has played several shows for the short period of time that they have been together. The band has played at Players Sports Bar, Riverside Café, The YMCA, and a local battle of the bands. The band has about 15 songs and could easily play an hour and a half to a two hour set.
