FAVORITE LIFEHOUSE SONG: Breathing
HOW I BECAME A FAN: Two good friends of mine were constantly talking about this "awesome new band" they discovered called Lifehouse. They were always listening to their CD players at lunch... but I never really paid attention. Then, at another friends birthday party, they put on the CD, and I only heard about a minute of one of the songs before we turned it off to watch a movie :). Anyway... I don't really know why, but I asked for their CD for Christmas, and got it. I listened to it, and totally fell in love with the band!
WHY I'M THEIR BIGGEST FAN: Well, I'm probably not the biggest Lifehouse fan, (isn't that reserved for their parents? :) ) but they are my favorite band ever!
HOW MANY TIMES I'VE SEEN THEM IN CONCERT: Once. A local radio station did a morning show with them at the mall. Me and my two friends I mentioned were able to go. They only played two songs, the most part was interviews...but they stayed to meet everyone afterwards, which was a lot of people.
WHAT I FIND INSPIRING: I don't want this to sound corny or anything, but there is just something about their music that I can totally connect with. Jason says that when you write something, it's up to the listener to interoperate it for themselves. I am a Christian, and to me...their songs are about connecting with God, and trying to reach out to other people. Another thing about them that I think is so cool is that even with all this new found success, they are such nice people! Talking to them was like talking to a friend, and meeting them was such a great experience!
