Hey all you Lifehouse freaks! :) My name is Rakel. I'm sixteen years old and I live in Los Angeles, and Seattle. I guess that just happens to be one thing that Jason Wade and I have in common... come to think of it, that's more than likely the only thing we have in common. Well, besides loving Lifehouse's music.

I discovered Lifehouse on November 7th. As soon as I heard the song "Hanging By a Moment" I stopped everything I was doing and just froze. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I thought the music and the lyrics were so beautiful. Soon after this, I bought the album, "No Name Face". I listened to it start to finish right away and I have to say that I had twelve new favorite songs. There isn't one song on the album that I haven't fallen in love with. Let's just say that it hasn't left my cd player since. Soon after, I looked all over the internet in search of every single detail I could learn about this talented group of musicians and I didn't find a thing! So, I decided that I had to do something. I launched the very first Lifehouse mailing list on the internet with egroups (which just recently became Yahoo). I named the list Lifehouse Music (pretty original, right?). :) Well, the day after the list was started there were three new members and then the list just took off! It grows with record speed each week! And I have to say that I just love meeting new fans! Being able to relate to people on such a personal level is very justifying. Soon after I started the mailing list, I began working on this web site. I guess you could say it's my tribute to the band.

I'm anxiously awaiting my very first Lifehouse concert in LA on March 29th and 30th! :) I'm even lucky enough to be able to see them a third time on April 9th when they come to Seattle! I'm definitely looking forward to seeing them LIVE! I'm positive that once I do, I will have even greater admiration for them as musicians (if that's at all possible!). :) Feel free to e-mail me because I LOVE hearing from fans!! That is, if anyone has actually made it this far without dying of boredom... If you're at all interested, I can add you to our Wall of Fame! All you have to do is e-mail me a little about yourself (ie. What makes you Lifehouse's number one fan? Why do you find their music so inspiring etc. Got it?) along with a picture (which, let me assure you, is totally optional) :)
