**JENIFER'S REVIEW**

Birmingham, AL
April 13th, 2001

I've read a lot of reviews of Lifehouse fans saying that they bought tickets to go see Lifehouse. Well, that wasn't my case. My first reason for buying the tickets to the April 13th show in Birmingham, Alabama was to see Matchbox Twenty. I actually had no clue who Lifehouse was. Especially since the paper said that their name was "Lighthouse" and not Lifehouse. I soon found out who Lifehouse was though. I started hearing "Hanging By A Moment" on the radio and began seeing the video on tv.

On April 13th, my mom, my aunt Anita, and I left at 6:00 PM and arrived at the BJCC at 6:45. We got into the arena and found our seats which were really sucky. There were litterally only 2 rows behind us. That's how far up we were. Anita and I decided to go find a Matchbox Twenty shirt for me but later decided to stay because of the line and it was almost time for Lifehouse to come onstage. At 7:30, Lifehouse played their set. It was awesome! They played a 30 minute set and ended it with "Hanging By A Moment". After Lifehouse played, Anita and I decided to go find a Matchbox Twenty shirt out in the lobby. At the third stand we went to, we noticed a huge group of people standing at a table. We looked closer and there was Lifehouse! Anita and I ran over to the line and one of the security guards told us he had just cut off the line. This sounds so teenybopperish but I started crying. He looked at me and said he didn't like seeing girls cry so he let me and Anita in line and told everyone after us that we were the cut off. Anita ran and got me a dark blue Lifehouse shirt and I got that signed by the guys. They are really nice guys! After I said thank you to all of them for signing my shirt, Anita and I went back to the arena and watched the rest of Everclear's set (we missed some of it because of standing in line to meet Lifehouse). Everclear was really awesome too. Art, Craig, and one of the back-ups were playing in the crowd. Everclear played for an hour and at 9:00, Matchbox Twenty got onstage. Their show was fantastic! They put on a great show and their light show was really cool. The only bad thing was that Rob was hurt. He had a brace on his leg. Matchbox Twenty played for two hours and the show ended at 11:00.
