Do's & Don'ts
In writing your message, here are some do's and don'ts. This is just a guideline to help you along with your message. You don't have to use all the Do's, but please do not do any of the Don'ts.
~DO tell John how much you appreciate him and his music. Let him know we're still here to listen to his music.
~DO tell him how he's touched your life.
~DO tell him a little about yourself and how you became a fan, and even include what songs you like.
~DO tell him how great he plays the bass. It's what he does best, I'm sure he'd love to be complimented on it.
~DO tell him how great a songwriter he is. He wrote some memorable songs with Queen and also "No Turnung Back" with the Immortals.
~DO give him encouragement and wish him luck in the future.
~DON'T pressure John to go back into music. It's his decision and we have to accept that. The point of this project is not to get him what to do, but to tell him that he still has many fans around the world.
~DON'T be anything but nice in your message (but I guess that's obvious).
