
According to legend, the 45 RPM record of this song was the one that caused Brian Epstein to seek out The Beatles in the first place. Happily, it's not the only Beatles song on record. They do only back-up (to singer Tony Sheridan) and not a spectacular job of that. Even the Beatles/Morecambe & Wise version of "Moonlight Bay" has more to offer in the way of rock-'n'-rolling an old chestnut than this does.
