As Lauren ran across the street a taxi cab came down the street, skidded on some ice and ran into Lauren. Sarah screamed. Greg-O MY GOD! SOMEONE CALL 911! Frankie picked up his phone and called 911 as Katie called Lauren and Sarah's mom. Lauren lay unconscious on the sidewalk were she had been thrown. The ambulance pulled up at the same time as Lauren's parents did. Her mom got in the ambulance with her daughter and they raced to the hospital. Her father followed right away. Chris got in Sarah's car because she was such a reck he thought she shoudn't drive. Matt got in Chris's car and drove him and Jesse to the hospital and everyone else got in the car they came. When they got there Lauren was in the emergency room with her parents and the receptionist let Sarah back there. Everyone else sat in the waiting room. Livi looked like sh*t and was hysterical. The other two girls and Jesse were crying as the other four guys just sat there trying to figure out how all this had happend. Night came and the staff at the hospital moved Lauren out of the emergancy room. Lauren's parents went to look for a vending machine and the staff was letting three people back at a time to see her.
The first to see her were Jesse, Chris, and Sarah. As soon as they walked in the room Chris started crying and the other two became so upset you would have thought they snapped their twigs. Lauren was sleeping so they left and told the other six to decide who went next because they said they would go back after everyone was finished. Livi, Greg, and Matt saw her and then Katie, Frankie, and Jenna. When the first three went back in Lauren was awake but could hardly breathe. Sarah talked to her for awhile and Chris did the same. Jesse didn't say one word the whole time. Finally Chris and Sarah left and Jesse was alone in the room with his girlfriend.
Lauren- Jesse. Jesse- Yeah. Lauren- I just wanted to tell you that I will always love you. Jesse- Lauren, I will always l........ He gets cut off as Lauren's heart monitor starts to go flat and her beat slows down. Jesse screams for help and a doctor comes running. Sarah reconizes Jesse's scream and all the kids go flying into her room. The doctor shocks Lauren several times before he tells the group that they lost her.
