**Jaki's Fan Encounter**
I got up around 10:30 am on Sunday May6th by my dad. He came in to tell me that we could go to the DS meet 'n greet later that night in Saratoga,NY held by promosquad!!! I was so happy that I was going to get to meet Chris,Greg,Frankie,Jesse,and Matt! I got up took a shower, and got ready. Around 2:00pm we left for New York( because I am from Massachusetts.) It took us 4-5 hours to arrive. We got there around 5:45 and went to check out the place. It was in a quiet little neighborhood. Since we hadn't eaten anything since lunch we stopped at Friendly's and got something to eat. We drove back to Woodlawn Ave, and went inside. My little sister, Jordan, saw Jesse and got so nervous that she ran back outside! We finally made it inside and were stopped by Maryann Raposo. She came over to us and said " Hi Jaki, Jordan. I didn't know you girls were comming!" She gave us a little hug and led us to the couches, where the boys were seated. We talked to Chris first. I was supposed to meet them on April 27th for the WWf NY The World Concert, but it didn't happen. When Chris found out who I was. He help my hand, and rubbed it and said " Greg, this is the sweetheart from last week we were supposed to meet.The girl with the medical condition." " Oh my goodness!" Greg replied. Chris turned to me and said " So, where are you girls from?" " Massachusetts." I replied " Really? What part?" he asked intrested. " Right near Boston" I replied. You came all the way from Boston to see Dream Street?" He asked confused, yet excited at the same time. When I looked around the room I noticed that there were only 6 other girls,besides my sister and I." He asked why we didn't get to go backstage and I told him it was because the security gaurd wouldn't let us in. " Oh I know, that security gaurd was so horrible, he wouldn't even let my mother in the room!" Greg offered to give up his seat for me. I sat down and we started talking. Matt moved over for Jordan to sit down. A girl asked who has a drivers permit, and Frankie,Matt,and Greg raised their hands. "Who has a car?" The girl then asked. Matt,Frankie, and Greg raised their hands again. All the girls giggled. " I have a ferrari!!" Jesse said jokingly, trying to make everyone laugh, and it worked! Greg asked me if I had any questions, and even though I knew the answer, I asked " Who was his musical influence and why?" He replied " Elvis, because even though he has been dead for all these years, he still has like 20 billion fans!" I just laughed alittle. He then proceeded to tell me about when he got to sing at Elvis 20th death aniversary. Matt had walked away to go say hi to someone, when he came back he asked," What was the question?" greg told him about the musical influence and Matt said he like the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. My sister whispered something to Matt and Matt turned to me and said, " Your in a girl group?" " Yea I am." I replied " WHat are you called?" he then asked " X3( pronounced Times Three) " Cool, can u sing something?" Greg asked. Chris joined in the conversation. " What are you guys talking about?" he said " Jaki is in a girl group." Greg said " Can you sing something?" Chris asked. Durring that time,Jesse had walked over to great Claudia Swan, their choreographer. He came back to the table and said," So do any of you sing?" I raised my hand and was then asked the same question about singing. I felt very intimidated, because they are these professional singers, and I am just an amateur. Greg said. " DOn't worry you don't have to sing, if You don't want to." " But if you do, we would love to hear you." Matt said " Thanks I replied." everyone just kept on talking. Somehow this 5 year old little boy came into the place, and started talking to Chris, and asked him if he could make farting noises with his armpit. Chris replied no, while chuckling. The little boy started singing " I've been everywhere" and Chris was like " Oh no, not that!" Frankie asked what? and Greg replied " Its a kids for kids thing." "Oh" Greg then said " Can you sing it?" Chris was like "no" but then proceeded tosay Reno, Chicago,Buffalo,Durango............ ahhh I forget the rest!" He started reading the Dream Street magazine and started singing the song again, and when he realized everyone had heard him, he shut up and made the most adorable face ever. " What?" he replied " Oh come on Chris, you know you want to sing." Greg said " Well if he sings "I've been everywhere". you have to sing " Hair" I said " I don't remember the words!, but if I did sing it, then Frankie would have to sing Winnie the pooh" Greg said " I can't go that high anymore!"Frankie said " But then Jesse would have to sing " Sugar Sugar" ( a sugar beats song) " Well I can't go that high either." Jesse said. Hey girls, if u sing Sugar rush, then we will" Greg said Everyone sang, including me, and the boys leaned their ears closer to hear me. The then sang. Matt started off with " Cause you make me go.........." And they were awesome. They had perfect harmony. The phone rang, and Matt picked it up. He started talking then handed the phone to Greg.Greg said hi, and handed it to me.LOL it was so funny! We kept on talking, and talking, until one of the men said," Come on boys, it is time to sign autographs." the boys got up and did as they were told.Then they took pictures. Jordan and I each took one with each member by themselves, and 2 with all of us. At the end the boys hugged everyone goodbye, and proceeded out the door.When Chris hugged me he grabbed my hands, held them, and said " You are a talented singer, Don't be afraid to sing. Keep up the good work." He made me so incredably happy. All of us 8 girl were incredable lucky to hang out with them for an hour. Thats more, than what most girls get. And I have pictures and auto's to prove it. Greg offered to call me on Monday May 14th and wish me a happy 14 birthday! Isn't that so sweet??
