******CHAPTER 7******
We decided it would be fun if we went to a dance. Jesse's school was having one, and you were allowed to bring as many guests as you wanted. It was being held at this HUGE hotel in the center of New York City. The class had raised money over the school year to put this dance on. We walked in the room to find streamers and lights hanging all over the walls and celings. On a big banner were the words "Goodbye Dance." Since everyone would be in 9th grade, at a new school.
The music was blasting and everyone was having an awesome time. I danced with Greg, Matt, Jesse, and Frankie each one time, and with Chris the rest. Bianca, Balan, and I danced together during the fast songs. When BSB or N*SYNC came on we just started screaming and singing along with all the girls,it was awesome. I had so much fun. Bianca even got to dance with Greg!! They looked sooooooo cute together. Greg had asked her to dance, and you could tell he was nervous and his face lit up when she said yes!!
" Um, Bianca since it is the last dance and all, maybe you would like to dance with me?" Greg asked shyly."Yes I would LOVE to!" Bianca said eagerly. To our surprise it was a Dream Street song they played. It was called " Sugar Rush." We were about to leave, when the DJ caught up with Chris and asked him if the guys wouldn't mind singing a song for the crowd. Of course, he said yes. So the guys walked up on stage and sang their single " It Happens Everytime." The girls went nuts! Bianca, Balan and I just laughed and bobbed our heads to the music.At the end of the song, Greg called Bianca to the stage. She smiled at Balan and I before she took off, heading for the stage. When she got there, their was an awkward silence. He then proceeded to talk."Everyone, this is Bianca. She is one of my friends, and I am standing here tonight, asking her out on a date." He said looking into her eyes."SO, what do you say?" He asked as he put the mic to her mouth."I thought you would never ask!" Bianca stated."I would LOVE to go on a date with you Greg." She said smiling at him.
We got back to the hotel room around 11:00pm. Chris gave me a kiss goodnight, and left. Greg gave Bianca a hug, along with a note which had his # on it. Us girls had to get to sleep because tomorrow we had to head to the airport early the next morning to pick up my sister, Jordan, and my friend, Tricia! I hadn't seen Tricia forever! She was one of my best friends, and I really missed hanging out with her. We had talked on the phone about what happened to me, and from what I gathered, I KNEW she was gonna like Matt! I was so ready to play matchmaker, since Chris and I didn't have to do anywork with Bianca and Greg!
