******CHAPTER 6******
I woke up suddenly and looked at the clock. " CRAP!" I screamed it was now 9:30am.I jumped out of the bed, and ran into my hotel room. I scattered around the room trying to find the shampoo. I then remembered it was still in the bathroom. I ran into the bathroom, and into the shower. I had to be really quick if I wanted to meet Chris ontime.I got out of the shower and grabbed a pink spaghetti strapped t-shirt with little hearts going across the top, and a pair of bell bottoms which had hearts going up the side, and one big one on the bottom right leg.Then I went into the bathroom and quickly put my makeup on.I walked over to Bianca and Balan's room and opened the door. " How do I look?" I asked them."Perfect." Bianca said. Balan just nodded her head in agreement."Yea you look awesome." She then said."Great! I hafta go, so I can meet him ontime. Can you tell my mom where I went?" I asked."Sure." Bianca said as I statred to walk out of the door."And remember. We wanna hear the details when you get back!" Balan called after me.The day before Chris told me to meet him at the " Cappadora Italian Kitchen". He gave me directions and told me to meet him there at 11:00am.I walked up to the sign to see him standing there.
"Hey." I said."Hey girl." He replied. He leaned in and kissed me."So what are we doing here? The sign says this place doesn't open until 1:00pm." I said."You will see" He said as he blind folded me.He took me inside and then I heard a flip of a switch. When he took the bandanna off of my eyes the room was dark, but there were projectors which showed stars moving around on the celing and walls."Oh Chris.It is beautiful." I said looking at the stars."Not as beautiful as you." He replied as he kissed me again. He lead me to a booth full of food already waiting for us."How did you manage to do this?" I asked curiously. "Well my friend's dad owns the place, and he owed me a favor." He replied."Oh." I said.We sat their and ate our lunch as we joked around. I then remebered about Bianca.
"So um Chris are the other guys taken?" I asked.He just looked at me curiously." No, um why?" he asked."No reason.So ALL of the guys single?" I then asked."Um yea." He said with a little additude."Yes!" I whispered."What was that?" He asked curiously."Nuttin." I replied."Jaki, you better tell me what's going on, cause if you are using me to get..." He started to say before I cut him off."No, no Chris you have the wrong idea.I was asking for Bianca."I then said."Bianca? What does she have to do with.......... Oh so she likes one of the guys?" He asked."Yea." I said."Who? Cause I happen to know one of the guys likes her." He said."Hmm... How about we say his name at the same time." He then said."One, two three...." I said."Greg." We both stated at the same time."Wow, so are we gonna help hooke those 2 up?" I asked."Sure, but let's talk about that later." He said. "Alright." I said as he leaned in and kissed me.
After hours of talking we realized it was time to leave. He took my hand and lead me outside.Since I had never been to NYC before, he decided to show me around.We looked at the Statue of Liberty, Rockafella Center, as well as many other historic sites. FInally, it was time to go back to the hotel, but I didn't wanna say goodbye."I can't believe the dates over." I said unhappily."Yea. I know.Maybe we can see if the gang wants to hang out. You can talk to Bianca, while I talk to Greg." He said."Sure!" I said excitedly.We walked up the hotel stairs, and down the hall to Bianca and Balan's room.To our surprise everyone was already there."Hey guys." Greg said eyeing us."Great, now everyone is gonna be hounding us for info on our date." I said to myself quietly."So, what's going on?" I asked before anyone could comment on our date."Nothing"Jesse said with a smile."Jaki, your mom wants to talk to you." Balan told me."Ok, be right back." I said. I quickly kissed Chris on the lips and walked out the door.
" What was that all about?" Chris asked curiously."Well it's Jaki's birthday in a few weeks, so we thought we would throw her a surprise party!" Bianca said."Awesome idea! But how are we gonna keep this from her?" Chris asked."Easy, we hold our meetings over the phone, or when she isn't around." Balan said."Alright, I am in." Chris replied. I came back in the room."My mom didn't want me!"I said as I looked the room and looked at their faces. I KNEW their was something they were hiding from me...but what?"What's going on?" I asked curiously."Um nothing we just asked Chris how your date went." Matt said."Riiiiiight." I replied."Chris is that true?" I asked."Um, yep it is the truth." He said trying to avoid eye contact with me. Now I KNOW they are hiding something!"Well anyways, what did you guys do today?" I then asked out of curiosity."Not much. We uh, just hung out, and um showed Bianca and Balan some of the city's sites." Jesse said trying not to smile."You guys are such horrible liars!" I said " But don't worry, I will find out what's going on, I ALWAYS do!" I said."We're not hiding anything." Frankie said."Sure your not, but um Chris and I came to see if you wanted to hang out with us." I then said changing the subject. "Alright." Greg said."I'm in." Frankie said "Count us in 2." Matt said ovbiously talking about everyone else."Cool." I said.Everyone got their coats and walked out the door.
