******CHAPTER 2******
I woke up the next morning feeling extremely happy because I met the guy of my dreams the day before! He was everything I wanted in a guy: good looking, funny, kind and caring."Oh my gosh!" I yelled all of a sudden. I had totally forgotten that the guys were comming to the studio to watch us."They are gonna hear me sing!" I thought to myself."I hope they like my voice." I then thought to myself again."What to wear, what to wear!" I said going through the closet in my hotel room."hmmmm ....... this looks good." I said out loud as I pulled a black spaghetti- strapped t-shirt with the word " super" and a star on it. I then pulled out a pair of blue bellbottoms.I wore my favorite pair of black sandals. I walked into the bathroom and put on my makeup."I have to look perfect for Chris."I thought.
After 20minutes of fixing myself up I walked over to the mirror hanging on the wall in my room. "Perfect." I said quietly to myself."Now where did I put Chris #?" I said. " Ah, here it is." I picked up my cell phone and called nervously."Hello?" I heard Chris say."Um hi Chris, this is Jaki." I said. "Oh, hey gurl what's up? he replied."Not much, I was just calling to make sure you guys were still coming."I said."Of course, we wouldn't miss it for the world." He said. As he said this I looked over at my mom in her bed.She was still sleeping."Can you hold on a sec., Chris?" I then asked."Sure." he replied.I put the phone down and walked over to her bed."Mom." I said quietly."Yea." she replied sleepily."It's 8:30 am, can u get ready now?" I asked her."Yea." she said as she got out of the bed,and walked into the bathroom. Then I walked back to my phone."Chris, you still there?" I asked."Yea." he replied."Do you wanna meet me outside the Starlight Hotel in like 30mins?" I then asked."Sure thing. That's on 34th street,right?" he replied."Yea." I replied."Well I guess I will see you guys then?" I said."Yup! bye Jaki." He said."Bye." I replied.
I walked out of my room, and over to the next. I knocked on the door. " Bianca, Balan it's Jaki, are you awake?" I asked."Yea, just a sec." Balan replied."K." I said.Balan walked to the door and opened it. I walked in to see makeup all over Balan's bed. I turned my head to find Bianca looking in the mirror."I take it you guys are coming?" I asked."Yup." Balan said."Hey, what do you guys think of this outfit?" Bianca said holding up a red holtar top and black capri's with the same sandals as me, but in white."Hot." I said."Slammin," Balan said."Great." she replied."I'm going to change in the bathroom, be right back." she said."Alright." Balan said."What do you think of this lipstick?" Balan asked."It looks really good on you." I replied."So, what are you wearing? I asked her."These." she said as she held out blue denim shorts and a purple long- sleeved shirt that said " rock star." on it, and the same sandles as Bianca and me in purple."Awesome outfit." I said.Once everyone was dressed we still had 10mins before the guys were supposed to show up. I quickly told them about yesterday, and we laughed and giggled about it.We then walked back to my room and told my mom that we were going to walk there." That's perfect. I have some errands to run anyway, so I will meet you girls at the studio." she said. "Bye mom." I said. I gave her a quick hug, and we walked out the door.
