I was sleeping when all of a sudden I was awoken by my cell phone vibrating on the table next to my bed."Argh!" I said as I stumbled out of bed. It was only 5:30 in the morning and I was soooo tired. I picked up the phone and answered it as I was walking into the bathroom."Hello?" I said sleepily."Hi Jaki this is Diane. I have some awesome news!!" Diane said excitedly."What is it?" I said more alert."Well the president of JIVE records loved your tape we sent of your first talent competition. He is eager to recieve you demo tape." Diane said."OH MY GOSH!" I screamed. Bianca, Balan and my mother shot out of bed by this point and Balan started banging on the door."Jaki let us in! Are you alright?" Balan said concerned."I am fine come in. I unlocked it." I replied. They came in the room and I just started screaming. When I told everyone why I was screaming they joined in. 2 minutes later Tricia, Jordy, and Pammy came walking into bathroom."What is goin on?" Tricia asked curiously. When I told them we all just started to scream.I then realized that Diane was still on the phone. I picked it up."DIane are you still there?" I asked."Yes I am here. I was wondering if you girls wouldn't mind comming down to the recording studio today, instead of tomorrow, to start working on some songs. Is that alright with you?" She asked. "OF COURSE IT IS!! I- I mean we wanna get it done as soon as posible to get signed." I replied."Alright I will see you around 10:00am. Is that ok?" she said."PERFECT." I replied.
I told everyone what was going on and we scattered around to find some clothes to get ready. I then called the boys and told them what was going on."Oh wow thats awesome Jaki." Chris said. He was on speaker phone so I was talking to all the guys at once."Yea. I hope you get the record deal." Jesse said sweetly."Awww thanks. You and me both Jessers." I replied."Can we come and watch you guys today?" Chris asked."Sure! We can pick you guys up." I said."ALright we will see you girls soon. Bye Jaki." Greg said."Yea bye!" Matt said.Oh, don't forget we are at Gregs house!" Matt said."I won't" I replied."Cya later." Frankie said. Then I heard a click of the phone hanging up."Guys, the boys are gonna come!" I said yelling, so the others would hear me."Awesome." Tricia replied.
We got all of our equipment and everything together and headed out the door. We sat in the same spots in the van as we had before. We arrived at Greg's house about a half an hour later."Hey Mrs. Raposo." I said as she answered the door."Call me Maryann." She replied kindly."Alright.Are the boys here?" I asked."Yea they are up in Gregs room. It is the second door on the right, upstairs." she replied."Alright.Thanks." I said as I started walking up the steps into the house. I climbed the stairs and walked right in front of Gregs door. I could hear Matt talking. I was just about to knock when all of a sudden someone jumped out from behind the wall."Ahhhhh! Chris you jerk! That wasn't funny." I said as I hit him in the arm a few times."Aww baby I am sorry." He said with a pout on his face. I could never stay mad at him for a long time, so I just huged him."It's alright." I replied as Greg opened his bedroom door."What the hell is going on out here?" he asked."Oh nothing I just scared the crap out of Jaki!" Chris said chuckling keeping his arm around me.The boys all laughed."Hey! You Just wait. I am gonna get you all back! And a promise is a promise." I replied."Oh come on guys,lets just stop the madness!" Matt screamed."Geese, calm down Matt." I said."Yea, your ruining all the fun." Frankie said."Come on let's go. I wanna go see Jordy!" Jesse whined."Alright,alright." I said."baby." I muttered."What was that?" Jesse asked."Oh nothing." I replied."Yea riiiiight." he replied."Guys,come on, lets go." Frankie said. The boys grabbed their stuff and we were out the door. Everyone sat in the same spots as we had the other day. Maryann decided she wanted to come along with us. She sat up front with my mother.
In the back row
" So how many songs are you guys going to sing on your demo tape?" Greg ask curiously."Ummmm I think 5." Bianca replied."Cool, cool." Chris replied. He leaned over and put his arm around me."Whats the matter?" he asked me."Nothing why?" I replied."Your just so quiet over there." he replied."Oh I was just thinking, thats all." I said. "'bout what?"he asked curiously."Just life." I said.
In the middle row
" Soooo...... what does everyone want to talk about?" Matt asked curiously."ANYTHING." Tricia said."Yea, I am bored!" Jordy replied."hmmm, well......." Jesse said."Mom, can we stop at that corner store?" Jordy yelled."Sure."she replied.
In the front row
" Pamela and Frankie, if you 2 are going to be making out I will throw you out of this car!" Balan said. Everyone turned around to see what was going on, and sure enough they were in lip lock."Well, I can't help it if I have a boyfriend, and you don't!" Pamela replied."Kids,stop arguing right now." Maryann said."We are at the corner store right now." my mom said.
