The Goo Goo Dolls

This part of my page is about my favorite band. My favorite band is the Goo Goo Dolls. In my opinion they are a great rock band. They have been around since 1986. They combine great sounds and lyrics with a punk-rock edge. They broke through the spotlight with the release of the first single off their 5th album, "A Boy Named Goo", "Name". Name was a big hit on radio stations across the country. They followed that with the release of several other singles. Then John Rzeznik got writer's block and couldn't write any songs, but then one day he wrote "Iris" which led to the release of their best album yet "Dizzy Up The Girl". Dizzy Up the Girl is a great CD. Your not a rock fan if you don't have this CD. this CD includes hits songs "Slide","Black Balloon"(Which Was Up for a Grammy Nomination),"Iris",and my favorite song in the whole world "Broadway". Some other awesome songs on "Dizzy Up The Girl" are "Dizzy", "January Friend","Amigone","All Eyes On Me",and "Hate This Place". The founding members of the Goo Goo Dolls were John Rzeznik,Robby Takac,and George Tutuska. After the release of "A Boy Named Goo", Tutuska was fired from the band and was replaced by new drummer Mike Malinin.

Good News! The Goo's are working on their new album:"Gutterflowers". I konw all you guys are just as excited as me to hear that. Well its supposed to be out in November. So were all anxiously awaiting! Hopefully it will be even better then Dizzy Up the Girl! Well i guess we'll see.
