Where
should I begin? This being what I believe, it is (and always will
be) strongly opposed and unheard of. This upsets me, and though nothing
will be done about it, I still choose to state my opinion. The war
on drugs, teen smoking; it's all bullshit. How and why could a democratic
government halt your personal damages? All they are doing is hurting
themselves, and if they are intelligent enough to accept the consequences
of what they're doing to themselves, then it definitely shouldn't
be an issue of anyone's but their own.
Why is it possible for someone else to handle your personal issues
when you are able to? Now, some drugs, like methamphetamines and heroin
can be severely damaging. Most people know that, and if they want
to do those drugs then they can choose for themselves if the outcome
of the drug is worth it to them. I think that all public schools,
elementary through high school, should be educated about the effects
of drugs, smoking, and alcohol on their bodies as the consequences
of sex and crime have been educated upon us throughout our school
years. If this is educated on us as the effects of teen pregnancy
and crime have been, then everybody should fully understand the consequences
and effects of drugs, smoking, and alcohol, and be educated enough
that they can decide for themselves if it's worth it. The government
shouldn't start limiting personal decisions. Soon it will be illegal
to hit yourself in the head.
Another thing that bothers me: Why is marijuana so commonly treated
as a life or death offense by people that don't even know anything
about it? I know for a fact that marijuana hasn't near the damages
of alcohol, and I still get argued with about that by steretypical
morons that don't know what the hell they're talking about
Alcohol causes more brain damage
than marijuana
Alcohol has been proven to be a physically dependant drug while marijuana
is only psychologically addictive.
Alcohol contributes to more diseases, injuries, and medical conditions
than marijuana by far.
Alcohol could produce unpredictable and sometimes extremely violent
emotions while marijuana causes a mild, euphoric feeling.
You can die from alcohol binges. Marijuana doesn't affect the parts
of your brain that control heart beat and breathing.. and alcohol
does! You would have to smoke 1500lbs in 15 minutes to overdose on
marijuana. Food for thought!
Do you ever see someone get high and
start a bar fight or go beat their wives because of marijuana's effects?
I certainly haven't. Now, if marijuana is considered an illegal and
criminal activity, why is alcohol so right? Alcohol is the most commonly
abused drug in America, so why is it legal? Or, better yet, why is
marijuana illegal? Another mystery of our controlled government. I
suppose they have to keep everything under control or someone might
consider it unjust, but what really pisses me off are the stereotypical
morons that see the issue from one viewpoint, and that is their own.
All this work obsessing over making America a "safer place" by making
personal decisions for America's youths as long as possible, while
criticizing drugs and alcohol as if it's America's decision. Phuck
you, America. I'm moving to Amsterdam.
