Unfortunately, I almost got my camera confiscated at the concert on 6/21. Then, at the meet and greet after the show - where I got to meet the guys, which was SO cool - we were not allowed to use flash photography. I gamely took photos anyway, but as expected, they were all underexposed and none of them turned out. Grrr .....
Anyway, like I said, I had the chance to meet Johnny, Robby and Mike. They each signed the back insert of my "Gutterflower" CD, which was really cool. I struck up a conversation with a young woman who drove 3 hours for the concert, and she was just BESIDE herself with the thought of meeting Johnny. Her name was Ellie and I stood next to her during the meet and greet. Johnny and Robby signed her hand-made t-shirt, and Johnny gave her a HUGE hug, which I think made her life. Her mother - who was with her - started crying because Ellie's dream of meeting Johnny came true. When Robby discovered that Ellie was with her mom, he grabbed both of them in a big ol' bear hug and practically had each of them in a head lock. It was really, really refreshing to see 'rock-n-roll stars' happy to meet their fans. :-)
