SAS　GROUP

SAS　GROUP Started to make their activity in 1976.The band was consisted of Soenatha　Tanjung(Guitar),Syeich　Abidin(Drums) and ARTHUR　Kaunang(Bass &Keyboards). Soenatha　Tanjung&Syeich　Abidin had played as a member Of "AKA band" that also very famous as ealier Indonesian hard rock band.The band's name was from each persons'intiai.They made some performance at mainly Surabaya. After they had released debut album "BABY　ROCK",they distributed some album (EXCEPTION、SAS1980,1981 etc.).These albums were inspired with Britsh rock strongly.Indonesian listeners also accepted SAS group as No1 rock group in Indonasia.Finaly they released over 10 albums until 1993 and they disbanded after the last album "METAL BAJA"had been released.I heard that they never come back in indonesian music scene because of some conflict among them. However,you can see ARTHUR　KAUNANG's performance at the cafe spaces in Jakarta even if now.But his recent works are mainly composision for some singers,I heard.As for Soenatha　Tanjung, I have not got any informations yet.I hope getting the informations .
