The show is a five-hour countdown of the biggest videos of the year. The show premieres Saturday, December 15th at 12:00pm ET. Check the calendar for additional times.

December 10, 2001 - Art to Perform From Playboy Mansion - Art will put on an acoustic performance on the Tom Leykis Show live from the Playboy Mansion this Friday, December 14th. Check your local listings for airtimes.
November 26, 2001 - Art's Solo Venture - Read about Art's new solo project at Billboard.com. Art on the record: "...isn't going to get that crazy. There are going to be some acoustic songs; there are going to be some rock songs."(Billboard). Art also adds that Everclear should be heading back into the studio sometime in 2003. November 19, 2001 - Art to appear on Chris Issak Show - Art will be a guest star on the The Chris Issak which airs on Showtime. The one hour-long comedy show which will be entering it's second season is partly based on Issak's real life and has featured guests Jay Leno, Stevie Nicks, Lisa Loeb, and others. The series follows Issak as he lives the
life of a rock star, with all the mis-adventures that life brings.(TVNEWSDAILY.Com). This season's lineup of guests also feature Third Eye Blind's Stephan Jenkins, and Green Day. You can catch an all day marathon of the first season's episodes from 10am to 10pm this Sunday, November 25th on VH1. The new season kicks off January 6th at 10:45pm ET on Showtime. November 8, 2001 - My VH1 Music Award Update - As reported before, Everclear's "AM Radio" was up for voting in the preliminary category of My Favorite Video for the 2001 My VH1 Music Awards. Well the votes have been counted, and unfortunately, "AM Radio" did not make the final cut. Also Everclear is not nominated for any other categories.
November 2, 2001 - Interview With Art Featured in Documentary - An interview with Everclear's Art Alexakis will be featured in a new documentary: The Secret History of Rock 'N' Roll on Court TV. The show is hosted by KISS's Gene Simmons, and is ...about the crimes and misdemeanors that influenced the creation and direction of the pop music industry over the past 50 years...(RockOnTV). The program will also feature interviews past and present with Dennis Wilson, Guns n' Roses, Phil Spector, Ricky Martin, and Coolio. The show will air December 4th at 10:00pm ET.
October 17, 2001 - Everclear Nominated for VH1 Vogue Fashion Award - Everclear's video for "AM Radio is once again nominated for an award. This time it is for the Visionary Video category for the 2001 VH1 Vogue Fashion Awards. The seventh annual award ceremony will be held Tuesday, October 23rd at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. Other nominees for the category include Moby/Gwen Stefani ("Southside"), U2 ("Beautiful Day"), Aerosmith ("Jaded"), and Fatboy Slim ("Weapon of Choice"). The show can be seen at 9pm ET on VH1. September 27, 2001 - Everclear to Play Show To Benefit NYC Relief - Everclear and Nickelback will be playing a benefit concert for New York City Firefighter Disaster Relief at Mcmenamins Crystal Ballroom in Portland, OR on October 31st. September 19, 2001 - Another Concert Cancelled - The Mix 98.5 Mixfest, scheduled this Saturday, September 22nd at Foxboro Stadium in Foxboro, MA, has been cancelled. Again, apparently due to last week's tragedies on the east coast. The University of Buffalo Fall Fest, which was scheduled for September 14th, was cancelled last week. There has been no word on any rescheduling.
September 13, 2001 - University of Buffalo Show Cancelled This Saturday's University of Buffalo's Fall Fest has reportedly been cancelled, apparently due to Tuesday's tragic events in New York and Washington DC, like many other events around the country scheduled this week. August 31, 2001 - "Rock Star" Video to Premiere According to the Rock Star movie website, the new music video for Everclear's "Rock Star" which appear's on the movie's soundtrack, will begin rotation on VH1 on Labor Day, September 3rd.
August 21, 2001 - "Rock Star" Hits Radio Today Everclear's new single, "Rock Star", hits modern rock radio stations today. Start requesting! The song is being released from the Rock Star soundtrack, which hits store shelves August 28th.
August 12, 2001 - Everclear Wrap Up Video Shoot Everclear recently wrapped up shooting the video for their song "Rock Star", directed by Marcos Siega(Weezer's "Hashpipe"). However the song is not being released as a single from the band's latest album, Songs From An American Movie, Vol. 2: Good Time For a Bad Attitude, from which it originally was appeared. Instead the song will appear on the soundtrack of a movie directed by Stephen Herek called Rock Star. The soundtrack will also feature songs from Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, and Kiss, among others.
The movie itself, set to hit theaters on September 7th, stars Mark Wahlberg as an office supplies salesman who plays in a tribute band. His life is changed forever when he is suddenly chosen to replace the lead singer of his all-time favorite band. The film also co-stars Jennifer Aniston. August 7, 2001 - Show Canceled, Tour Winds Up Everclear ended their headlining summer tour with opening acts Flipp, The Mayfield Four, and American Hi-Fi this Sunday in Portland. The tour however did end on a sort of a low-note on August 4th for Spokane, WA fans and hometown rockers Craig Montoya from Everclear and opening act The Mayfield Four. The show was reportedly canceled because the promoters failed to have a permit for the concert. The show was canceled less than one hour before the scheduled start. The sheriff's office threatened the bands with jailtime if the show went on.
August 2, 2001 - Spokane Venue Changed The August 4th Spokane date has had a change in venue. The original venue, The Playfair Racetrack, has reportedly lost it's license. Confirmed from Everclear Online, the concert has been moved to the Spokane Motorsports Complex. More information is below.
July 24, 2001 - HOB Webcast Through August Watch Everclear's July 7th performance at the Miller Oasis at Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI on a webcast presented by House of Blues(HOB.com). The webcast runs from July 20 through the month of August.
July 24, 2001 - San Bernardino Venue Changed The July 29nd Honda Civic Tour show, previously scheduled at the Orange Pavilion in San Bernardino, CA, has been relocated to the Sun Theatre in Anaheim. If you would like more info, go here.
June 21, 2001 - Touring Keyboardist Leaving Band In a letter to fans at EverclearOnline, Art has announced that touring keyboardist, James Beation will be leaving the lineup to work more on his own solo Jazz music. James emerged into Everclear a few years ago, and played all keyboard parts on the last two albums. Replacing him will be keyboardist/guitarist, Robbie Gennet. June 21, 2001 - MTV Cribs Canceled According to EverclearOnline, the taping of Art's appearance on MTV Cribs has been canceled. Apparently it turns out Art is remodeling his house at this time. However, there is a possibility that an episode might be taped in the show's next season.
June 5, 2001 - Everclear Heads Out on Tour Later This Month One of the summer's most anticipated tours, Everclear will head out this summer on it's own headlining summer tour. Nine of these summer dates will be part of the Honda Civic Tour. The band will be dragging along acts Flipp, The Mayfield Four, and American Hi-Fi for the ride.

Flipp, a band based out of Minneapolis, MN, was the latest addition to the supporting cast. After opening a few shows for Everclear in late April, Everclear leadman Art Alexakis got a hold of a copy of the bands latest LP, Blow it Out Your Ass and was very impressed. Alexakis commented, “We were on the road watching the video like 5 times a day in the bus and now I can't stop listening to the record. May 24, 2001 - Everclear on X Tribute? Jim Lindberg, leadman for Pennywise has announced his plans to produce an X tribute album. Other than Pennywise, Lindberg's list of hopefuls for the project include Everclear, Social Distortion, Blondie, Hand Williams III, and No Doubt.
X is a punk band from Los Angeles who helped generate the initial punk music scene during the late seventies and early eighties. Art has said the band inspired him greatly, calling them his favorite punk band. For more info on X, go here. May 11, 2001 - UK Tour Canceled
Everclear's tour of the United Kingdom with supporting act Voy, which was scheduled for the end of May and early June has been canceled. Rock City says that the band canceled due to circumstances beyond their control. It turns out that Capitol Records, Everclear's record company has refused to pay tour support, making it financially impossible for the band to do a tour of Britain. The band deeply regrets the decision and hopes to return to the UK soon. Ticket purchasers for these shows can receive refunds from their point of purchase.
April 21, 2001 - On TV: Art on MTV and SNL Rerun There are two programs featuring Everclear that will be on television during the next two weeks. The first being Celebrity Undercover in which Art will appear. On the show an unsuspecting fan gets to meet their favorite celebrity. The show will air on Wednesday, April 25th at 5:00 ET directly following TRL. On May 3rd, Comedy Central will air a rerun of Everclear's performance on Saturday Night Live which originally aired on March 16, 1996 on NBC. Catch it at 6:00 ET.
April 11, 2001 - Everclear plans headlining summer tour Though they are currently opening shows for Matchbox Twenty throughout the US, Everclear is planning it's own headlining tour that will get underway this summer. The tour will stop in places that the Matchbox Twenty tour missed previously and perhaps visit a few a few more cities that the band has already played this year. The tour's lineup has already been determined with the opening bands being Flipp, The Mayfield Four, and American Hi-Fi. No dates have been released as of yet. Everclear will also headline the second leg of the Civic Tour this summer. It hasn't been reported as to whether these dates will coincide with the summer tour. April 11, 2001 - Everclear shoots video for "Brown Eyed Girl"
Everclear spent a few days off from their tour with Matchbox Twenty to film a video for their new single, their version of Van Morrison's classic "Brown Eyed Girl". The song appears on the bands fourth album, Songs From An American Movie, Volume One: Learning How To Smile. The video reportedly features a few star including Talk Radio's Andy Dick. March 27, 2001 - Art sick, band misses out on Wichita show
Everclear missed out on the Wichita, Kansas show on Sunday reportedly because lead singer Art Alexakis was battling the flu and checked himself into a hospital. But it has been said that it was food poisoning. Art checked himself out of the hospital Sunday night and Everclear played a full set in Colorado Springs on Monday. The band plays in Albuquerque tonight before heading off to Los Angeles.
March 11, 2001 - Everclear to headline second leg of 2001 Honda Civic Tour According to an allstar news article, Everclear will headline the second leg of the 2001 Honda Civic Tour. Blink-182 is headlining the first part of the tour, making stops in cities throughout the midwest. It is reported that Everclear will be making stops in Connecticut, Arizona, California, and Utah to name a few, but no definite dates have been made. The tour will start in June when Everclear returns form their tour of the United Kingdom.
March 10, 2001 - UK tour scheduled for May Everclear's tour of the United Kingdom will have it's start at the end of May. The first few confirmed shows can be found in the tourdates. Complete details as to what other bands might appear on the tour is uncertain. Stay tuned for more info.
March 10, 2001 - "AM Radio on Pop-Up Video Everclear's video, "AM Radio" will be one of the videos played on VH1's Pop-Up Video on March 15th. The show airs at 9:00am ET and 6:00pm ET.

February 11, 2001 - New Single to hit Radio 2/26 Everclear's new single, "Out of My Depth", the second of which from the sequel of the Songs From An American Movie set, Goodtime For a Bad Attitude, will officially be released to Alternative and Modern Rock Radio format stations on February 26th. Everclear's decision on the new single was reportedly made public at a number of recent concerts in Canada.
February 6, 2001 - Everclear Hosts VH1's Top Ten Countdown
While playing at the Sundance Film Festival, Everclear taped an episode of VH1's Top Ten Countdown. Although the episode was taped in late January, it will not air until late this month. Here is the tentative schedule for the show to air:

February 6, 2001 - Volume One Hits Platinum Mark Everclear's first of two record installments of the year 2000, Songs From An American Movie, Vol. 1: Learning How To Smile was certified platinum on January 23, 2001 for selling a million or more units since it's release in July of 2000.
February 6, 2001 - Canadian Tour Kicks Off! Everclear has hit the road in Canada. The band kicked off it's month-long tour which also includes some Northern US dates. The tour kicked off in Rochester, NY on February 1st in support of Everclear's Songs From An American Movie duology released last year. They are supported in the tour by bands: Nickelback, and Volcanic(an act recently signed by Everclear lead man Art Alexakis to his label, Popularity Records.) Directly follwing the Canadian tour, Everclear starts a two-month long tour of the US as a supporting act for Matchbox Twenty, which will also include freshman act Lifehouse. That tour gets it's start February 28th in Milwaukee.
