October 5, 2000 - "AM Radio" on the Charts Everclear's brand new single, "AM Radio" appeared this week at #20 on the Billboard Modern Rock Chart.
September 25, 2000 - "Wonderful" hits the charts with a bang! The "Wonderful" single, featuring a remix of "Father of Mine", and a brand new song, "I'm on Your Time", debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 Sales Chart this week.
September 19, 2000 - Everclear on Behind the Music Attention! It is official! Everclear will have their own Behind the Music special on VH1. The Everclear episode will air on Sunday, November 26th at 9:00 PM EST/6:00 PM PST. So be sure to mark on the calendar so you remember to tune in!
September 12, 2000 September 17th's CD101derfest radio festival in Columbus, OH has been officially canceled. No official reason why yet, but it is believed to be because of poor ticket sales.
September 12, 2000 According to this Mtv article, Everclear will be shooting a video for it's latest single, "AM Radio", later this month in Los Angeles. Art will be directing the video, as he did the "Wonderful" video.
September 12, 2000 Despite earlier plans, for a release, the "Wonderful" single will make it's way into stores today. Instead of the previous planned bonus tracks: Speed Racer and Southern Girls, the cd will feature a new song called "I'm on Your Time" which did not make the cut for Learning How To Smile, as well as a newly remixed version of "Father of Mine".

August 29, 2000 The E! Network will be airing a half-hour special featuring a performance by Everclear at E!'s 10th anniversary party. These are the dates and times when you can catch it, all times are eastern: September 2nd at 2:00am, September 3rd at 12:30pm, September 4th, 1:30pm, September 5th at 2:00pm, and September 10th at 2:00am.
August 25, 2000 Everclear has been certified Gold! When an album is certified Gold, it means it has sold 500,000 copies or more. When a band reaches Platinum Certification, their album has reached 1,000,000 units sold or more. Songs From An American Movie, Vol. 1: Learning How To Smile has been certified Gold after only six weeks on the shelves! Congratulations Everclear!

July 21, 2000 Everclear's first week on the charts with the new album was a great one. The new album, Songs From An American Movie, Vol 1: Learning How To Smile, premiered at #9 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart. It led the way on the Top Internet Sales Chart.The first single "Wonderful" rose from #53 to #37 on it's fourth week on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart, while the song held steady at the #4 position on the Modern Rock Chart. And the song even made it to #20 on the Adult Top 40. A very strong showing for Everclear on the charts. Their first top ten album!
