During National Coming Out Week, there were a few incidents of homophobic vandalism, and the whole campus was buzzing about it. I heard a lot of people (typically from rural Minnesota) say things like Mr. Jock here is saying (and in some cases, they were referring to any minority group's "pride" month or week). That really scared me. I've gotta ask: then why the hell are you going to college in St. Paul?
