League File

Basically, a league Commissioner maintains a "master" league file, and simulates all of the game activity on his or her computer.  The Commissioner keeps the league database updated by uploading team files generated by league participants.  Team files contain roster moves, lineup and depth chart changes, and other team information.

While roster management and web maintenance is automated in Out of the Park Baseball, drafts, trades and free agency are conducted according to the league's rules and are to the discretion of the league commissioner.  Online leagues typically approach these in a number of different (and often very unique) ways, from ranked lists for drafts to online auctions for free agents and peer-to-peer communications for player trades.  Consult the league's rules for more information.
