Carposi Sarcoma (Skin Cancer)
In times gone by away we'd fly
To meet our hopes and fears
Yet through these dark and dingey times
Its fear that fight we must.
The future's nigh and there we cry
Our fate as full of tears
Yet with those tight and stingey lines
Minister's we never trust
As cancer of the skin will fry
And lives lost year on year
Sixteen thousand plagued in time
And ten percent are dust. .............(UK only)
We ask why and when d'we see?
30 weekly part in fear
This life that was of precious times
Is gone, 'they' say "It must".
We ask then: (Pauses)
How'd 30 die each week and try
To speak to family dear?
Yet papers print on 15 times
A coach injury to does thrust?
Do questions that we deem to ply
Upon those of our peers?
Make us fear these 'precious' times?
Or d'we speak of all we must?
Questions
1600 per year, out of 16000 who contract skin cancer, in the UK, die (that is 30 every week) yet the papers print stories about a coach injuring 15 women from the WI, yet this is not 15 deaths and it is preventable. Is skin cancer preventable? That is a question we all need to answer, as 10 percent, who get it, die from it.
