Dear Dr Stephen Ladyman,

In view of the elected position that you hold along with the representative nature of your office I feel obliged to let you know that any vote that you offer in favour of the UN resolution that is proposed by the UK government is NOT on my personal behalf.

Further to this, I am of the opinion that for your personal vote to be on behalf of your constituency, especially on such an important matter, you have a duty to actively inform us and seek the opinion of your constituency.

The matter of war was NOT the basis of your position as an MP in Westminster and your election to office cannot be used as a blanket cover for all the personal decisions that you make.

Your position is subject to the viewpoint of your constituents and any refusal to ascertain our view renders you in contempt of your elected position.

Please at least place a vote to abstain as you have not been seen to seek out opinion.

Regards

Andrew Drozdowski
