Father Eugene Daberto - MHM ( Mill Hill Missionary)
The Sebastehanons fondly remember him as Father Dab, an Italian by birth, but Sebastehanon by aspiration. It was this aspiration that propelled Father Dab to pave the way for a massive employment for dependents of the then depressed families of Sebaste, Austria and other parts of Europe. The concrete houses that now nestle on residential lots where once stood nipa shanties are living testimonials to the love and concern for the poor, of that God-Sent missioner and visionary. Moments before his death, Father Dab chose to be buried in Sebaste, the place thousands of miles away from his homeland, but which he has learned to love as his own.
A landmark institution of Sebastehanons separated by thousands of miles reaching out to one another, born out of love for being Sebastehanons FOREVER .
A place where people gather to witness municipal events.
A resting place of Sebastehanon forefathers overlooking Sebaste shore.
A favorite waterfalls frequented by tourists where they swim in a large basin surrounded by centuries old rocks.
A hanging bamboo bridge on a trail to Igpasungaw Falls.
A view of one of the ricefields during planting season. A source of Sebastehanon's food and income.
Erected in front of San Blas' Roman Catholic church where he spent most of his life caring for Sebastehanons.
A gathering place which is visited by people all around the island of Panay to seek comfort after receiving a blessing from the patron saint San Blas.
D'on Felix said "My ricefield is ready for harvesting!"
