Everyone's favorite pirate metal band, Running Wild continues to march on after almost twenty years in the recording business. They are basically the brothers of Grave Digger, as the two bands have much in common -- both were early signees to the fledgling Noise Records label at about the same time, both have carved similarly successful careers in the German power metal field, and the one common factor in both bands have been their respective frontmen. Though they flirted with satanic imagery briefly in their early career (as seen on the debut), the aforementioned pirate theme was hatched for their third album (Under Jolly Roger) and they haven't looked back since.
