10 week studies for students of all ages. Available cases
include "ASTRONOMY" and "ANATOMY: Skeletal System, Ear and
Eye." Coming soon: "ANATOMY: Systems and
Organs."
Perfect for multiple ages, "Science By The
Case!" is recommended for students in grades 1-8. The High
School Supplement can be used with the case for high school
students.
The effective teaching methods in "Science
By The Case!" include setting all of the scientific vocabulary
to music. The songs are short and easy to learn. Even your
youngest student will easily learn the vocabulary!
Included in the case are all the materials to make
several models and fantastic activities.
Visual aids
for each lesson are included in the "Surprise Bag". Each
visual aid offers a unique way of presenting new material to
the students. An example of this is when you tell your
students you have an entire skeleton in your bag and take out
a sea shell. Students then learn the difference between
"exoskeleton" and "endoskeleton". Children look forward to
seeing what will come out of the bag each week!
An
original biography is included in each Case. Children enjoy
the story and are interested in science and history as they
are introduced to historical figures who were passionate about
their area of expertise.
