Been a while!!

Well, I know it's been a couple of months since I've updated anything, but seeing as how no one even looks at the page, it's not much of a loss. *lol* Mickey's obviously made it home safe and things are returning to normal. I'm not sure if they'll be leaving again over the summer, but who knows.

Besides that, Salazar Slytherin has moved into our home. One of Mickey's Navy friends decided to get rid of him, so we took him in. He's another Royal python and is about a year older, and a little larger, than Severus. Saly was unfortunately sick when he first moved in with us. He's been dewormed though and is getting back to normal. I will be putting pictures of him up soon!

Well, once again, I have been up since 4 a.m. I have been doing really well the past few days, getting up early, so that I'm here when Mickey gets up to go to work, but, once again, lo and behold, Mickey is either late for work or the email on the ship is down!! Since I had nothing to do, yours truly decided to clean the bedroom!! I knew Franklin had left me a few presents under the bed, so I moved the bed out from against the wall, vacuumed, turned the bed, and moved the chairs around. Now the rooms spiffy!! Not sure I have the energy to tackle any other projects!! Luckily for me, the rest of the house is in good condition. The only thing that needs work is the car! *cringes*

Well, there's nothing new going on here at all. Other than it's rained the past two days instead of being incredibly hot, nothing has happened. At least it's not near as cold as it is back home! Mom's been telling me about the -18 degree weather, and that's not something I miss! Anyhow, I hope everyone's doing okay!! All's well here!!

A Nice Change

Well, you can imagine my reaction when I woke up this morning and the house was freezing!! Being here in Florida, I'm used to the heat. Just the other day it was 78 degrees out!! Not so this morning!! This morning it was a nice crisp, 38!! I haven't felt that kind of cold in a long time, that's for sure. I really feel bad for Mom and Dad, having to put up with -18 degree windchills!! It definitely doesn't get that cold here. I may miss the snow, but I could do without that feeling when you step out in the morning, take a deep breath, and your nose hairs freeze, lol! Anyhow, I hope you all are having a great day and I hope your weather is nicer than here!! At least it's sunny today. Yesterday we got rain!

Well, I'm on a roll!! I've managed to get most of the webpage updated and all, so here I am, posting to let you all know that it's getting there!! I don't know how many of you will actually read this page, but I hope that you do!! Please, feel free to leave post comments or replies to any entries here. It's a great way to start keeping in touch more with family!! I know it's difficult to have the time (or energy!) to make numerous phone calls to everyone, so I'm going to try some new things out. I'll update as much as I can and will check the site daily, so please, let me know what you think!!

Something Different!!

Well, this is something different, but I thought I'd try it out, since it is a new year!! I also figure it's a great way to keep records of what's been going on. I really should have started this months ago when Mickey first left, but of course, I didn't even think about it!! Shows how lazy I can be!! LMAO!! I guess it helps for the rest of the family to see what we've been up to as well! I know I don't get the opportunity to talk to everyone, so if I can at least share a little bit of my day, then it doesn't seem so bad. :) I hope you all enjoy and read up on us to see how things are going here in sunny Florida!!
