The Message of the Apostles
Excerpts from an email from Char Tierney

We can have respect for another's conscience as we serve the Father, but what if one believes one thing and the other believes another? What if one is true and one is not? What if Abraham thinks he should wait and let the Father give him the promised son through Sarah, and Sarah believes that she and Abraham should use a concubine to carry out the Father's will? Both have their conscience, which leads them to do the Father's will, but one actually is His will, and one is not. Would Abraham be wrong to tell Sarah, "No, I won't go your way"? What should Sarah do, if she does not agree with Abraham? Shouldn't she ask the Father?

The conscience was given to mankind and it has good purpose, but the way to know what the Father's will for you is, is to ask Him. As the Apostle Paul says to Titus concerning the conscience, "Therefore, rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith and will pay no attention to Jewish myths or to the commands of those who reject the truth. To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good."  Not believing leads away from the Father, and eventually it corrupts the conscience.

As I said in my testimony page, (as the Father said to me) each apostle called by the Father must have a message from Him. The Father said to me that the message from the twelve apostles was the message of Jesus. Here is what the Apostle John says that backs up what the Father said to me.

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We write this to make our joy complete. This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. (From I John 1)

Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard. Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining. (I John 2)

5And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another. 6And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love. (2 John)

The Father's message through apostles is not new. They are eternal truths. Yet, they are new, because of the times. John and the other apostles' message was new, because Jesus came and died, taking our sin. Yet it was an old message, that in God is no darkness (for in Him there is no sin) and we must walk that way also.

The message from the Father that the Apostle Paul bore was that the sacrifice of Jesus was too great for only the Jews but that the Gentiles also would be saved by Jesus' blood. This was not a new message, but an old one:  "He says: "It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring my salvation to the ends of the earth." (Isaiah 49:6)

This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "See, I will beckon to the Gentiles, I will lift up my banner to the peoples; they will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their shoulders. (Isaiah 49:22) "I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I make much of my ministry." (Romans 11:13)

Jesus did not go to the Gentiles, nor did He send His twelve to them during His lifetime. It was the Father's will to call Paul to be an Apostle to the Gentiles, when He chose to call him: These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: "Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. (Matthew 4:5,6)  Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: "We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles. (Acts 13:45-47)

The message that I bear as an apostle is also not a new message. Although it is an old message, it is a new message in its timing, which leads to the return of Jesus. The message is that to a Bride: come and know the Father, know Jesus, as a Bride would know Him, which is intimately. Talk to Jesus and He will talk to you.

Jesus will be back on the earth. Then all mankind will know that He is God, because of the miracle of His return. So, leading up to that day, what sort of relationship should we have with Him?

And God spoke to Israel in a vision at night and said, "Jacob! Jacob!" "Here I am," he replied. "I am God, the God of your father," he said. "Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you into a great nation there (Genesis 46)

And God spoke all these words: "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. "You shall have no other gods before me... (Exodus 20).  The ten commandments did not originate from what was written down, but they came from the Father's mouth. It is what the Father said, that Moses recorded, which became our Holy Scriptures.

One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: "Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. 10For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city." 11So Paul stayed for a year and a half, teaching them the word of God. (Acts 18)

The relationship that we should have with God is the same that the Father had with Abraham, with Adam, with Moses, with Paul, with all His friends on the earth. We should talk to our Creator about all things. We should seek Him about everything, and wait on Him and He will talk to us, He will make Himself known.

Step outside every day and talk to the Father. Look around at the beauty He created and talk to Him. Look at the events on earth and talk to Him about them, especially as a great struggle escalates worldwide over good and evil, over freedom and oppression. Adam met with Him in the cool of the day. Seek Him and you will find Him, and your life will never be the same. As you look around at the situations around you, whether in your household or your neighborhood, or in the world, bring these situations to the Father for His help and His comments, and He will answer you. As you carry the burdens of your family and friend and neighbors and the world to Him, He will value the relationship that you are developing with Him, and the care that you are showing for the world that He loves. You will see that the Holy Spirit will begin to influence your prayers, and the Father will answer your prayers more and more, to the good of those for whom you are praying. This deep, abiding, eternal personal friendship is what He wants from each person on earth.
