Mining this is THE place to go. Apart from having a partially restored washing and sorting
yard and numerous water wheels (that all work) this site has real live Lead Mine. Park
Level Mine is open for underground tours. A trip into Park Level is a nostagelic trip into
the past, which starts when you are kitted up with a miners hat and lamp.Guided tours lead
you deep into the mine. There is even a waterwheel in a huge cavern. |
