Things to look for:

Man made objects in the water, anything that small baitfish can hide in.

Sandbars between you and the beach look for the rip current at the end of the sand bar.

Some fish like feeding in the faster moving water.

Bait:

Look at the area that you are fishing. What brought the fish to that area?

If you have commercial crabbers in the area try chicken.

(You will be surprised of the results.)

Sand fleas, Minnows, Bloodworms just to name a few.

(Whatever you are fishing for that works.)

 Tide and time of day:

Try to choose the time of day when the tide.

Will be coming in right up to high tide.

( You can spot the sandbars just off shore. )

Look for bird activity if you see a lot of this it's time to start fishing!
