J.C. Parks PTO - Who Are We?
The J.C. Parks Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization is an association of parents or guardians of children enrolled at J.C. Parks, J.C. Parks staff members, school administrators, and concerned members of the community. It is the goal of the J.C. Parks PTO to provide social, educational, and economic support to the school community. Parks PTO meets on the first Tuesday of each month, at 7:00 pm, in the Media Center. The cost to join is only $5 per family for the year! Join the PTO! If you are interested in joining the J.C. Parks PTO, please contact Lori Jordan ljordan@wef.org. Or, complete the PTO Membership Form and return it, along with $5 to you child's teacher. Volunteer! If you are interested in volunteering on a committee, please contact Natalie Michael or complete this information on the membership form. Show your Parks Pride by wearing the latest Spirit Wear - from short and long-sleave t-shirts; sweat shirts, sweat pants, and sweat suits; to totebagsand lanyards - there is something for everyone! Just fill-out the Spirt Wear order form and return it, along with payment, to your child's teacher. Help earn extra funds for J.C. Parks’ PTO is a great opportunity for parents/guardians, teachers, family members, and administrators to come together, as one community, to assist in providing services that enhance our children’s everyday educational experience. There are many areas of the PTO that would benefit from enthusiastic members wanting to have a positive impact on our school community. From attending the monthly meetings or volunteering for PTO events and programs to joining a committee or serving as a PTO officer, there are many ways to participate at any time commitment level you can give. The J.C. Parks PTO appreciates all of our volunteers and participants, and we look forward to your membership this year.
