I would like to start by saying that I have found a job where I am truly happy. Finally I found a place where administration knows how to treat people and show their appreciation for all that we do. Thanks to a good buddy of mine I went and applied at a HCA hospital and was hired. Contrary to the local tradition I was not hired on the spot. The HCA facility has a standard practice of doing background checks on each new employee and has each new employee demonstrate various competencies BEFORE going to work in the patient care area. As well the managers and director of the ER are very open to suggestions by the staff and they are only an email away if you have a problem. So I urge anyone who may be unhappy at their present job to give a HCA facility a chance. They have great benefits and high wages, and most importantly they treat you right. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Now onto an endorsement of another product. As many of you know I have a condition known as hyperhydrosis. Basically I sweat too much. This has proven to be embarassing numerous times as scrub tops become stained and look horrible. Well, I just stumbled upon a product called Certain-Dri recommended by a close friend of mine. Thanks to one week of therapy with Certain-Dri I am now sweat free. If you have trouble with excessive sweat, give this product a chance. You can buy it over the counter at any Kroger or CVS pharmacy. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Now onto more fun stuff. Even though I no longer practice in Maury County, I have managed to still see patients with crazy complaints. The funniest thing here lately involved a guy whom had obviously been unfaithful to his wife. HE presented with a complaint of dysuria. I entered the room to assess this guy when he revealed to me that he had what he believed to be VAGINARY WARTS. It took everything I had to keep from laughing at this guy. He said the health department had told him that they would just fall off in a couple of weeks. I think they may have meant that his penis would fall off in a couple of weeks. Needless to say, this poor guy was distraught. SO if you ever get the VAGINARY WARTS, they will not fall off. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
