Xbox Live is the official tag name of the Xbox's online service. It lauches November 15, 2002. Unlike Nintendo or Sony, Microsoft will charge a fee to play online, and Xbox Live does not support modem/dial-up, only broadband. The introductory price of $50 U.S. for the first year. This package includes the headphone/microphone and a one year subscription to Xbox Live. After that, there is a $10/month fee for online gaming.
