Barbados Jazz Festival
This production which is held between the 8th and 14th January is organized by GMR International Tours Inc. Working in conjunction, producers and sponsors network to bring together in tropical ambience some of the world's best talent in a weekend long explosion of Jazz in its unending possibilities of sound fusion.

Holetown Festival
The Festival which is held between the 18th and 25th February commemorates the landing of the first settlers to Barbados at Holetown, St. James in February 1627. Highlights include street fairs, the Royal Police Band Concert, a Musical Festival in the historic Parish Church and a Queen Show. The Festival is now in its 24thth year.

Oistins Fish Festival
The Oistins Fish Festival celebrates, between 14th and 16th April, the life and contribution made by this fishing town to the overall development of the island. The program includes fishing, boat racing, fish boning competitions a Coast Guard Exhibition, Food Stalls, arts and Crafts, dancing, singing, and road races.

Congaline Street Festival
De Congaline street festival is a nine-day carnival held between 23rd April and the 1st May. The Congaline Village is the heart and soul of De Congaline Carnival and Provides a daily exhibition forum and marketplace for a myriad of free entertainment and local artifacts and culture. It is dubbed "The World's Greatest Street Party", as it culminates in a one-day T-shirt band parade. 2000 marks the seventh year the festival is being celebrated.

Crop Over Festival
The Highlight of the Annual Cultural is the Crop Over Festival help between 14th July and 6th August. This Festival originated on the sugar plantation as means of celebrating the end of the sugar cane harvest season. The Crop Over Festival was revived in 1974 after a period of depression and involves community participation in fairs, concerts, cart parades and other cultural activities which an integral component being the Calypso Monarch.
