Introduction

. You have probably uttered the words, “That’s not fair!” plenty of times during your life. The truth is, what is fair isn’t always right and what’s right isn’t always fair.

In Avi’s documentary novel, Nothing but the Truth, a young boy finds out that justice isn’t always fair even if the scale tilts in your favor. You will spend some time investigating this concept using the rules and regulations of your school and come up with your own conclusions. In essence, you and your group will play judge and jury.
