My Treasures
In the quite of your embrace,
while you sleep at night,
I awake sometimes just stare at you,
enjoying the dim shadow of your face.
I watch you sometimes for hours,
as you just lay there in such serenity,
I marvel at your beauty so sweet,
you are a joy for me to behold.
I caress gently your hair,
so soft and wavy flowing down,
silky to the touch so fair,
a lightness of your beauty my love.
I treasure the warmth of you,
your skin touching mine,
close we become as one,
never would I leave you willingly.
As I drift back to sleep,
entwined together with you,
I loose myself within you,
lost like a perfect dream.
I would wish to never wake,
from this bliss I have touched,
made real by your embraces,
kept and soothed to my soul.
These are just a few of my treasures,
in you the wealth of my soul,
With you the measure of my worth,
Together the prosperity of our life.
