The sun rises yet another morning,
giving us another day to try and make,
right that which has been done wrong,
again renewing our hearts and faiths,
in the death of the old & a dawn of a new day.
As with all things our love is the same,
it is not all the things that we have done,
nor our promises of things not yet done,
but the measure of the things we continue to do,
that marks the path we take forward today.
I love you with all my heart,
in the small and large ways I can make,
a path to you and with you,
together is the only way we can walk,
your hand in mine we embrace this new day.
Today is all that we can ever command,
yesterday is already spent and retired from us,
each new day our tomorrow is always in front of us,
