Pastor Hansen:
Pastor Hansen was originally ordained as a Local minister
for his local church in a small town in California. After Joining the military
he became very active with in the churches on Fort Ord. There he was invited
to preach and teach the Christian services for those who attended. When he was
later transfered to Fort Hunter Ligget, and Fort Irwin to work as a Military Police
Officer, he again met up with the chaplins at each and began to assist them with
their pastorial needs. When he returned to Fort ord after being sent to Germany
he shocked to see the Military Policeman's Fellowship still existance and flurrishing
that he started.
When Pastor Hansen, left the service. Worked in many different fields from Trucking
to Network Administration. As a result, he began drinking and subsequently found his
way to A.A. (Alcoholics Annonymous) and found his way back to the Lord. He suffered
a few relapses over the first few years but today, he's once again active with A.A.
both in real time and On Line helping others to recover. Sept 06, will mark his 6th
year sober by the Grace of God.
How it all Started
Well now that you know a little about Pastor Hansen, you're asking yourself how
White Lake Weddings came into existance. Well, Pastor Hansen was very approached
by a co-worker who wanted him to officiate their wedding. Not being sure if his
ordination was valid or not here in Michigan he asked the couple to seek out a local
justice of the peace to do their ceremony first. After which he would be happy to
do the service for them.
When he called back to Calif. he was told that his fear was correct. The original
ordination was only a "temp ordination" valid in and through the Local Church, and
limited to Calif only. He was told of a non-denominational organization that welcomes
pastors that have ordinations to join them and they are reconized through out the
United States. After checking their requirements, Pastor Hansen was officially
Ordained through their church thus allowing him to rights and privilages to do any
form of services needed with in the 50 states.
After the weddng Pastor Hansen saw the need for affordable wedding services with in
Oakland County. He had heard how the pastors were over priced and vowed to never make
it a problem to those who wished to be married. With in a few weeks he estabished the
