The Quest

‘Lady, you know all my desire, and long held in keeping the only treasure that I seek. Yet it is not yours to give me, even if you would; and only through darkness shall I come to it.’
~Aragorn to Galadriel, The Fellowship of the Ring, book ii, chapter viii

This is my entry for Fixated’s September challenge. The challenge was “overcoming the odds,” and immediately “The Impossible Dream” sprang to my head as the perfect song, but I went back and forth for a while on whom to make it about – Frodo? the Fellowship? the Hobbits? – but the more I thought, the more I realized exactly who I wanted to feature, and exactly what his quest throughout the series was. (For those who’ve watched my other videos and actually bothered reading through all my ramblings, it shouldn’t be hard to figure out, long before the end of the video.)
