 Welcome to the Novice Buddhist

Website

For The Understanding Of

The Path That Leads To No Suffering

This site is an  introduction to  Buddhism.
My attempt to give an understanding of Shakyamuni Buddha's
teachings . The best way to use this site is to read Buddha's life story
first  (Buddha page), then The Four Noble Truths, then The Eight Fold Path. The rest of the site will fall into place.

Buddhism is not a belief system, rather it is a process of education.
The guideline, of the rules, that  end  all suffering, and rebirth,
in the lower realms. You do not need to take Buddhism at face value.
Practice the path, the  result will follow. A little study, patience and
persistence, in the beginning, should be all  that is needed.

Buddhism:
Exploration of Consciousness and Time.
Analysis and classification of consciousness,
entirely free from the notions of self, ego, soul, or
Any other permanent entity in or behind the mind.

" For the sake of those seeking to become voice-hearers Buddha responded by expounding the Law of The Four Noble Truths, so that they could transcend birth, old age, sickness and death and attain nirvana.
For the sake of those seeking to become pratyekabuddhas he responded by expounding the Law of the Twelve-Linked Chain of Causation (12 Links of Interdependence).  For the sake of the bodhisattvas he responded by expounding the six paramitas, causing them to gain anuttara-samyak-sambodi and to acquire the wisdom that embraces all species." The Lotus Sutra"
