P represents the amount borrowed, X represents the number of hours after the deadline, while T represents the number of hours from the time you click the Submit button, to the deadline:

1) Steady (if it might take you well past the deadline) -
(P + P(T / 240)) / 24

2) Exponential (if you expect to get it in soon after the deadline) -
P + 0.0005P(T)^(X / 96)
