The Good Music Mystery
I find it funny when someone like Celine Dion is considered a good artist. Where's the art? I thought art epitomized creativity and expression. Granted, Celine Dion is an excellent singer. However, to compare her to musicians who open up their deepest and darkest thoughts through music and poetry would be unfair. Let it be clear, Celine Dion is a singer. Not an artist, not a musician.
Stories and thoughts don't have to be told in words. Every instrument in a band contributes to the overall expression conveyed in a song. The bands I have chosen have made an impact on our music industry by exposing their soul through their words and music. In my opinion, their music is not driven by money , popularity, or exposure. Their intensions are real. Their music is true.
