I love Faramir and Eowyn, and I grew tired of waiting for the RotK extended edition to see if Peter Jackson is not as much of an ass as I think and actually does include Faramir and Eowyn at the Houses of Healing and on the walls of the city. So I did a little bit (all right, a lot) of editing on my Two Towers footage and ended up with an F/E shipper video I’m rather fond of. I actually think the song fits well; since Faramir was known to have visions, I have no trouble believing he could have foreseen the love of his life, even if Professor Tolkien didn’t see fit to mention it to us.
