The Prep Phase

To start the process we'll assume the role of the vehicle needing only a little bit of body work not a complete tear down and rebuild.

  1. Begin by sanding the rusted surfaces. These are the key areas to be fixed. Then continue to scuff up the rest of the vehicle with a light sanding.
  2. Apply body filler to dents, holes and other such indentations.
  3. After body filler hardens sand the filler to a smooth even surface hardly noticeable to any indentations. (This may take time and several repetitions)
  4. Now that the vehicle has the rust fixed up we may continue to the next phase.
