Goodness, I was angry, wasn't I? Well, and no wonder. I had plenty of reason. I can't believe I left out a few people, though; the ones I mention are people I never much liked to begin with who simply made themselves even more objectionable. Or, you know, demonstrated deep psychosis. It was the ones I considered friends who felt it necessary to destroy me (for my own good, of course) who were the main reason I left TORn with no intentions of ever returning. Well, they did a lot more than that, but that's another tale.
So, if you're here now, you're actually wondering what became of me (or, more likely, looking for a poem from TORn from three years ago). And all I can say is - well, two things.
1. Email. It's a new invention. Kinda cool.
2. Regarding #1 - It's been more than a year. In the past year, the worst of my life, there were times when a kind word or friendly "face" from someone I used to consider a friend would have meant more than I could possibly say. Aside from Ginger, Advising Elf, and diedye - who were with absolutely no exaggeration responsible for keeping me from opening a vein or stepping in front of a truck - I have heard from no one I didn't write to first.
Still want to get in touch? Unless you're one of the people referred to above, go for it. If you're one of those people, save it.
3. Oh, you just wanted that poem/Scenes from the Hat/mathom from three years ago? What, they haven't made Old TORn searchable YET?
Told ya so.
