How I became a gundam wing fan.

Now, I know that all the pilots, and a lot of the other characters in the series where all named after numbers (Why? I dunno)but when I first saw gundam wing I was a little more then confused.

When we first meet Heero, I don't think that many american fans hear the number in his name. That is because his name is Japanese for the number one and I still only know the swears, please, thank you, Sir, Madam, rabbit, and a death threat. I thought Heero was just a normal name in Japan.

But then...there is this guy, long braided hair, dressed totally in black, with a priest's collar. And his name is Duo. Now who on their first impresstion though that he was maybe just a little nuts? Anybody?

I did. I know I did. The little weird things that I bearly even notice about him now, made me kind of wonder about him. Duo is the whole reason I'm a gundam wing fan. He caught my attention. So sometime during the summer, I went online and looked up more gundam wing. I gotta tell you at first I was just looking for pictures of all the characters to give to my little brother who had been asking about him.

And...at first when I headed over to Hotbot, I typed in gundamn wind, because that's what my little brother told me it was. Gundamn wind.

Kurt how do you spell that?

"Gun...like the word."

"Yeah."

"*snickers* Damn...like the word *snickers*..." (He was 7 at the time. You know how in first grade they make you sound it out?)

"Kurt..."

"And then wind like the word..."

And I get nothing back. I walk over to the T.V. screen and look at it.

G-u-n-d-a-m w-i-n-g.

Ah.

Pathedic ne? I couldn't even spell it right.

And I found this one fan fiction page. It was like all Duo fics right? And I read some stories there ok? And I was thinking that I like the guy with the braid or the little blonde guy.

But we still have our pictures to find for my little brother. I click on this link to a picture, that says 'Duo in a brown suit'. the computer loaded it and...well I had to print it out ok?

Then I found a picture to keep Kurt happy, checked the spelling of all the pilots names, and headed back to that site.

And that is how I became a gundam wing fan.
